In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are new collectibles to explore that haven’t been seen before in Breath of the Wild. These interesting collectibles offer players more opportunities to engage in the game while adding a new level of excitement to the experience. In this guide, we’ll show you where to locate Bubbulfrogs in the game so you can start collecting Bubbul Gems.
Tears of the Kingdom – The Hunt for Bubbulfrogs
The spectral Bubbulfrogs in the game are a valuable resource that can be traded with Koltin for rewards. Luckily, finding them is not too difficult, and they appear early on in the game. To find them, venture into the various caves around Hyrule where they lurk. In these caves, you’ll come across Horriblin enemies hanging from the ceiling, and possibly other threats. Somewhere in the cave, usually behind a weak wall, you can destroy to discover a hiding Bubbulfrog. Once you’ve found them, shoot the frog with an arrow and then finish them with a melee weapon. They aren’t difficult enemies and don’t attempt to attack you. Once defeated, the Bubbulfrog will float into the air and leave behind a Bubbul Gem.
When you enter a new cave and discover a Bubbulfrog, the cave’s icon will display a checkmark on your map. Keep in mind that each cave only has one Bubbulfrog available. If you’re having trouble locating caves with these collectibles, we have some guidance for you. Our guide on how to find the Satori can help you out, as these special animals will temporarily light up the locations of caves around Hyrule. Look for blue columns of light emanating from the entrance to these caves to find your next Bubbulfrog. Some of these frogs can be tricky to locate, such as those residing in Crenel Hills Cave, Hebra South Summit Cave, and Pit Cave. You can find separate guides for these areas to help locate their Bubbulfrogs.
So, start exploring the caves around Hyrule to find your own Bubbulfrogs and start trading them with Koltin to earn your rewards. Never miss out on any of your treasures in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, available for purchase now on the Nintendo Store.
