The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a vast world filled with powerful beasts. Players can encounter some particularly memorable encounters which can pose a challenge. In this guide, we will provide you with tips and tricks to defeat Moragia in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Battle with Moragia
The battle with Moragia takes place in the Regional Phenomena main quest, shortly after beginning to restore peace to the area around Goron City. After helping Yunobo regain his senses, players join him on a trip up the mountain to pursue the princess. However, that’s when the three-headed creature Moragia emerges.
Defeating Moragia
The key to defeating Moragia in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is to hit it with three charged shots launched from the flying vehicle platform. Yunobo will be your projectile to hit the enemy. The hovercraft vehicle platform can be found leaning against a nearby ledge of cooled molten rock, which consists of two Battery pieces, a Control stick, and four Fan pieces attached to a Wing. Quickly use the Ultrahand ability to grab it and lay it flat on the rock. Make sure it faces away from where the three Moragia heads have emerged.
When standing on the center of the Wing, the vehicle should start a slow launch forward. Players should pull back on the stick to gain elevation as they circle back and start flying up towards the worm-like appendages. As players approach, a guidance beam appears to let them know where they can fire Yunobo. When he is lined up with one of the heads, players should press the indicated button to launch him from their craft. A direct hit removes 1/3 of Moragia’s life meter.
Players need to hit each of the three heads once with Yunobo. Ascending quickly can make it easier to target all three. However, Moragia does fire molten balls that can knock players from their craft and back onto the rock. In that case, players need to quickly find the hovercraft again and use the Ultrahand ability to reposition it facing away from where the three Moragia heads emerged. Remember to position the craft away from Moragia when first launching as players will have more time to gain elevation.
Battle Strategy
The hardest part of beating Moragia is staying in the air. Crashing against the rock doesn’t hurt much, but it leaves players exposed while they get back into the air. To avoid this, players should initially start by giving themselves some elevation. Using the approach mentioned above, defeating Moragia can be relatively simple as the creature doesn’t inflict too much damage, even if it hits players. Restart the attack and continue hitting any heads that are missed.
