The iconic character Tingle from Majora’s Mask makes a return in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. One of Tingle’s fascinating items, the Tingle’s Hood, can be obtained at the Statue of the Eighth Heroine. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get Tingle’s Hood in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Guide on How to Get Tingle’s Hood in Tears of the Kingdom

Statue of the Eighth Heroine is back in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In this location, players can find Tingle’s Hood by accessing the cave that the statue blocks.

Players can acquire Tingle’s Hood in the Statue of the Eighth Heroine by reflecting sunlight on the statue’s chest using a mirror. After several seconds, a gate will open, giving access to Tingle’s Hood. The atmosphere of this moment is similar to a puzzle in Ocarina of Time where players had to redirect sunlight to find a solution.

The statue is located northeast of Otutsum Shrine and northwest of Gerudo Summit Chasm.

The statue is located next to the cliff wall. Players will need to drop over the edge of a high point and glide down to reach it. After viewing a gem and a gate, examine the nearby canyon walls to see a treasure chest on one ledge. Cross over and open it to acquire Mirror (3), which is necessary for opening the dungeon.

When players visit the ledge, make sure it’s sunny, and it’s either mid-day or afternoon. Use a Mirror from your inventory to reflect light onto the statue’s chest to open the gate. Adjusting the aim can be tricky, so when you are as close as possible, wait for the sun to shine brightly, and once it does, direct the beam properly. Jump and glide to the statue, then climb to the high ground and pass through the opening to enter into the Statue of the Eighth Heroine Cave.

Be cautious when entering the cave as Gibdo enemies are hidden inside; using Arrows fused with Shock Fruit eliminates them before they get close. Otherwise, use elemental attacks that suit your current equipment.

After defeating the enemies, look for a nearby sand pile, and you should find a half-buried Fan. Use the Ultrahand ability to pull it from the sand and carry it over to the far side of the room. In front of a treasure chest, place the Fan and turn it on to blow away the sand. When you open it, you will acquire the Tingle’s Hood and, in some cases, complete the Misko’s Treasure: Heroines Manuscript.
