How to Beat Yunobo in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Yunobo is a Goron native of Goron City. He is a respected and reputed businessman, but lately, he has been behaving differently. You’ll have to resolve the issue that he’s dealing with early on in the Yunobo of Goron City main quest. Yunobo has a special mask that you’ll need to break into pieces in order to defeat him.

The Yunobo fight takes place in a cave. You’ll notice that Yunobo rolls into a ball and moves quickly in Goron fashion in the battle. In this phase, get as close as possible to your target, but be ready to dodge the incoming Yunobo roll. The initial roll is swift and can catch you off guard, so make sure you have decent armor. If you find yourself close to a wall and Yunobo misses you, he’ll hit the cave’s side, stunning himself. This is your chance to attack him with your melee weapon and crack a piece of his mask. The fight resumes, and you’ll need to damage his mask this way multiple times. Each blow will remove a large chunk of Yunobo’s life, and the final blow will drop the mask.

After winning the battle, Yunobo will have a change of heart. He is willing to help you during the next phase of your quest.
