Battletech dev’s pulpy strategy The Lamplighters League out in October

The Lamplighters League, a pulp-inspired tactical turn-based strategy adventure by Shadowrun and Battletech studio Harebrained Schemes, has a release date. The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Game Pass on October 3, 2021. In the game, players will travel the universe to thwart the Banished Court cult’s nefarious schemes. You will control a gang of misfits and scoundrels, using a combination of real-time infiltration, stealth, turn-based tactical combat, and team management.

Gameplay of The Lamplighters League

Set in an alternative version of the 1930s, the game will transport players from dockyards and other urban corners to far more exotic locales such as deserts and jungles. Players must battle the Banished Court’s army using a mix of real-time infiltration, stealth, turn-based tactical combat, and team management. The game features a steadily expanding roster of adventurers, each one bringing signature abilities, stories, and roles, which can be augmented using new gear and resources found on the field. If a globe-trotting blast of pulpy strategy sounds like just your thing, The Lamplighters League will be available via Steam, the Epic Store, Xbox Series X/S, and Game Pass on October 3, 2021.
