Rogue Legacy 2 Added to PS Plus Next Week

PlayStation gamers will finally get to try Rogue Legacy 2 when it arrives on PS Plus next week on June 20th. Previously released in 2022 for PC and Xbox, followed by a Nintendo Switch version. Now, Sony gamers can finally join in on the rogue-lite fun that the game offers which inherits skills and gold from its predecessor.

The Swan Song

Rogue Legacy 2 PS Plus version contains all 10 updates, including the most recent large expansion called Swan Song. This will include new game modes such as True Rogue, Thanatophobia, and Thana-two-phobia, three new fabled weapons, and a boss fight.

Although there is no official announcement yet, it is unclear whether any other games will join the PS Plus lineup on the same date.

Inspired by the charm of the original, Rogue Legacy 2 expands on its formulaic permutation without throwing it away completely. According to our review, it lets players tailor their experience, “It stands as a terrific example of how to let players tailor their experience to their liking, whether that means a helping hand or dialling up the challenge.”
