Splatoon 3 DLC Update: “Side Order” Promises New and Exciting Single Player Campaign

Splatoon 3 fans have even more reason to be excited as a second wave of Expansion Pass DLC is on its way. In a recent interview with Famitsu, Splatoon producer Hisashi Nogami hinted at what players can expect from the upcoming update titled “Side Order.” According to Nogami, this new single player campaign will offer a “completely new and different” gameplay experience. In addition, Nogami revealed that the story will feature the popular pop idol duo Pearl and Marina from Splatoon 2, known as ‘Off the Hook.’ Co-director Seita Inoue added that the development team wanted to create a world in which Team Order triumphed over Team Chaos.

This DLC pack will follow the release of Wave 1, which came out in February of this year. Wave 1 allowed players to revisit Inkolpolis and reunite with the Squid Sisters Callie and Marie. Fans can only hope that Wave 2 will bring even more exciting content to the game.
