How to get the Purple Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Enigmatic Colored Potato Questline in Disney Dreamlight Valley

One of the most intriguing and eccentric questlines in Disney Dreamlight Valley revolves around the colored potato chain. Players are tasked with obtaining different colored potatoes without any clear indication of how or why. Among these potatoes is the Purple Potato. Here’s a guide on how to acquire it in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Starting the Purple Potato Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Before embarking on the Purple Potato quest, you need to have already obtained the first potato in the chain, the golden potato. Head over to Scrooge’s Vault door inside his store and interact with the counter to pick it up. Screenshot by PC Invasion

The quest for the Purple Potato begins in the cavern within Frozen Heights, where you first encountered Olaf. Look for the purple portal that never disappears and press E to interact with it. Screenshot by PC Invasion

As soon as you approach, the portal starts asking you questions. These questions may leave you wondering about the answers, but rest assured, you’re not alone. The game intentionally made this puzzle needlessly complicated. To solve it, you’ll need to locate ten books scattered throughout the Valley map and extract the highlighted words from them to decipher the riddle posed by the talking portal. Brace yourself for some fast traveling and running across the Valley.

Finding the Ten Purple Books

The order in which you find the books doesn’t matter. Here are the locations:
