At Nintendo Life, we always find ourselves envious of exclusive game merchandise available in different regions. Today, our envy has been sparked by the unveiling of the Pikmin 4 homewares collection that will soon be released in FamilyMart stores across Japan, as well as Nintendo stores in Tokyo and Osaka.
Nintendo Japan showcased the collection in a blog post, revealing that it will be rolled out in three waves over the course of the next month, starting on July 4th. The range includes a variety of incredible products, such as notebooks and handbags. We’ve handpicked some of our favorites from the collection to share below, so we can all commiserate over what we’re missing out on:
Unfortunately, it seems that these products will only be available in Japan for the time being. So, if you happen to be in Japan, consider yourself lucky! For the rest of us, let’s take a look at what we’re missing:
And we can’t discuss the collection without mentioning the Pikmin ice cube mold (first spotted by @haylsho on Twitter). Just imagine dropping one of these adorable Pikmin figures into a refreshing drink on a hot summer day…
The ice cube mold comes with a price tag of 3,949 yen (approximately £22 / $27) and won’t be available at FamilyMart until July 18th. Needless to say, with the added cost of a flight to Japan, it might be quite an expensive way to chill our beverages. But hey, a gamer can dream!
Don’t forget to visit the official Nintendo Japan website to explore the full collection, including a few more products and their prices.
