Nintendo Partners with Mondelez International to Launch Super Mario Bros. Oreos

Mario is joining forces with snack company Mondelez International to introduce officially licensed Super Mario Bros. Oreos. These limited edition packs of cookies will be available in North America starting July 10. Each pack can contain one of 16 different designs featuring popular characters like Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Bowser, and more. Designs include items like the Super Star, Bloopers, Spiny, and the iconic power mushroom.

The promotional trailer showcases the cookies tumbling through a Mario-style level, colliding with glasses of milk, all set to the nostalgic backdrop of the World 1-1 theme from the original Super Mario Bros.

Peach is noticeably absent from the cookie designs, but rumors suggest that collecting all 16 different designs will somehow lead to saving her. The exact details of this quest remain unknown, but Nintendo fans are already excited to embark on the challenge and collect them all.

With the immense success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the announcement of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, Nintendo’s decision to collaborate with Oreo seems like a no-brainer. Mario is currently enjoying unparalleled popularity.

As of now, the Super Mario Bros. Oreos have only been confirmed for release in North America. However, fans worldwide are eagerly hoping for an international release. For more information about the collaboration, visit the official Oreo website.

Can we also put in a request for Metroid Oreos? The idea of having a Screw Attack cookie is simply irresistible!
