Knowing when Summer and Winter start and end in Don’t Starve Together can give you a huge advantage in preparing for these challenging seasons. In Don’t Starve Together, the first Winter starts from day 21 to 35, and the first Summer starts from day 56 to 70.

When Does Summer Start and End in DST?

Summer will be your fourth season in the playthrough if you use the default season settings. So, you have plenty of time to prepare for it. In Don’t Starve Together, the Summer lasts 15 days, and the first Summer starts from day 56 to 70. The cycle repeats every 70 days, and each Summer season will happen according to the following:

  • The second Summer: Day 126 to 175.
  • The third Summer: Day 196 to 245.
  • The fourth Summer: Day 266 to 315.
  • And so on!

The length of the Summer season can be determined by the server’s settings. Here are the different settings and how they affect Summer’s duration:

  • Very Short: 5 days.
  • Short: 10 days.
  • Default: 15 days.
  • Long: 22 days.
  • Very Long: 40 days.

When Does Winter Start and End in DST?

Winter is the second season you’ll face in Don’t Starve Together, and it only lasts for 15 days by default (compared to 20 days for Autumn and Spring).
