Granzella Delays R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos Remakes to 2024

Granzella, the game development company, recently announced that the release dates for the highly anticipated R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos remakes have been postponed until next year.

Originally scheduled to launch during the summer, the game’s development team confirmed the delay during a recent showcase. The new release window has been set for 2024, although an exact date has not been specified. Granzella assures fans that the release will not be at the end of the year, suggesting a likely earlier launch.

Despite the lack of specific details, R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos is set to combine both remakes of the beloved strategy RPGs, R-Type Tactics and R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate.

The original R-Type Tactics, known as R-Type Command in North America, made its debut in 2007 for the PlayStation Portable. Its sequel followed in 2009, also on the PSP.
