A new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 has just been released, showcasing Scorpion and Sub-Zero’s battle to establish the Lin Kuei’s purpose in Liu Kang’s reimagined Mortal Kombat Universe. The video also introduces Smoke, a skilled member of the ancient warrior clan who excels in stealth and practical magic. With strong connections to Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Smoke has embraced the clan’s mission and joins them in defending Earthrealm.

Rain, the High Mage of Outworld, is also showcased in the trailer. Rain has mastered the art of water magic and transformed it into a formidable weapon. Now, he seeks to learn the darkest and most powerful sorcery of the realms.

The trailer also reveals the addition of several new Kameo Fighters, including Sektor, Cyrax, Frost, and Scorpion. These fighters offer a wide range of support moves and abilities during matches.
