Disney Dreamlight Valley: Ready Player Fun Quest Guide

Looking to complete the “Ready Player Fun” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley after unlocking Vanellope? We’ve got you covered with all the details on how to find Vanellope and complete this quest.

How to Complete “Ready Player One” in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once you reach friendship level 4 with Vanellope, you can accept the “Ready Player One” quest. This quest requires you to complete some standard tasks around the valley:

  • Mine 3 gems
  • Catch 5 fish
  • Plant 30 crops
  • Collect 30 crops or fruits

These tasks are fairly easy to complete naturally, but if you want to speed things up, you can buy and plant Wheat, which grows in less than a minute.

Once you have completed all the tasks, speak to Vanellope. She will mention going to hide somewhere dark for a game of hide-and-seek. Before that, however, you need to head over to Scrooge McDuck’s store while she hides.

After Vanellope hides, it’s time for you to find her. You can ask villagers for hints, but the simplest way is to head to the Vitalys Mines in Sunlit Plateau. Inside the mines, follow the candy trail to eventually find Vanellope hiding behind some mine carts about halfway through.

Vanellope is hiding behind some mine carts about halfway through the Vitalys Mines.

Speak with Vanellope again, and she will ask to race you back to the entrance of the mines. Hover your way back to the entrance and speak with her outside. Her last request is for you to catch three fish in under three minutes, which is quite an easy task considering you’re near flowing water coming out of the mines. Look for fishing spots along the small river, and you should be able to catch three fish in less than a minute. Finally, return to Vanellope to complete the “Ready Player One” quest.
