How to Obtain Misty Step in Remnant 2
In order to upgrade your Dodge Roll to Misty Step in Remnant 2, you will need to acquire the Ring of Omens from the Cathedral of Omens during a Blood Moon event. Additionally, you must wear one of six Yaesha amulets, with Death’s Embrace being the recommended choice. By equipping the Ring of Omens and one amulet, your Dodge Roll will transform into Misty Step. The six available amulets are:
- Death’s Embrace
- Full Moon Circlet
- Necklace of Flowing Life
- Ravager’s Mark
- Red Doe Sigil
- Talisman of the Sun
Misty Step allows you to phase away instead of performing the standard dodge animation. Furthermore, you will no longer consume stamina when executing a Misty Step, instead gaining grey health. This can be combined with the Quilted Heart relic option, which grants healing each time you dodge. Additionally, the Misty Step provides improved invincibility frames, making it a fantastic choice for survival.
How to Trigger a Blood Moon in Remnant 2
Triggering a Blood Moon is a crucial step in obtaining Misty Step in Remnant 2. While Blood Moons occur randomly, there are certain steps you can follow to increase your chances of encountering one:
- Go to the Cathedral of Omens via Ward 13
- Scan the horizon to check for a reddish light flowing downwards, indicating a Blood Moon
- If there is no Blood Moon, enter the connected zone and check again
- If still no Blood Moon, return to Ward 13
- Repeat the process by returning to the Cathedral of Omens
It is recommended to visit the connected zone before returning to your checkpoint, as this increases the likelihood of a Blood Moon occurring in all Yaesha zones. If a Blood Moon appears, refrain from using Checkpoint crystals and immediately head back through the door. This will activate the Blood Moon in the Cathedral of Omens, allowing you to obtain the Ring of Omens after solving the puzzle.
How to Obtain the Ring of Omens
To obtain the Ring of Omens, you only need to solve one of the puzzles in the Cathedral of Omens. Pull the first lever near the chamber’s entrance once, and then pull the far-right lever four times. Once you receive the “Objective Success” message, turn around and the red door behind you will open. Enter the room, and a red slab will slide open, revealing a chamber below. Descend into the chamber to find the Ring of Omens.
Note: It is important to mention that the slab will no longer open after collecting the ring and returning to this area.
How to Obtain Death’s Embrace
If you are looking for a relatively easy way to acquire an amulet for the Misty Step upgrade, Death’s Embrace can be purchased from Bedel of the Vaunnt for 1000 Scrap. Bedel of the Vaunnt can be found near the entrance to the Yaesha Biome that leads to the Forbidden Grove.
How to Obtain Full Moon Circlet
To obtain the Full Moon Circlet, you need to travel to the Imperial Gardens during a version of Yaesha that starts at Red Throne, while a Blood Moon is in progress. Look for a trapdoor adorned with a golden full moon crest at the base of a statue near the ruins’ entrance. Take the first left before the stairs, and you’ll find the statue around the bend. The amulet is hidden in a secret room beneath the trapdoor.
How to Obtain Necklace of Flowing Life
You can find the Necklace of Flowing Life in dungeons like The Chimney or The Lament. Due to the game’s random generation, it is necessary to search both locations. Look for a rectangular-shaped room with a chest to loot. Additionally, you’ll notice an illusionary wall that you can simply walk through. Behind this wall lies a large area where the Necklace of Flowing Life is hidden.
How to Obtain Ravager’s Mark
To obtain the Ravager’s Mark, you need to reach the Ravager’s Lair at the end of the Yaesha Biome. Once there, you will have the choice to spare the Doe or fight the Ravager. By killing the Doe, you will receive the Ravager’s Mark as a reward.
How to Obtain Red Doe Sigil
The Red Doe Sigil can only be obtained in the Yaesha Biome if it begins at the Red Throne location. Head to the throne room and make all friendly and cooperative speech choices when speaking with the Eternal Empress. Continue playing until you reach The Widow’s Court area. By bringing the Ornate Lockbox to The Eternal Empress without opening it, you will be rewarded with the Red Doe Sigil.
How to Obtain Talisman of the Sun
Travel to the Forgotten Field and locate the marked location on the map. Follow the path until you reach a chest at the end, which contains the Talisman of the Sun as a reward.
