FunPlus Appoints Alexandre Amancio as Senior Vice President and Head of World Building and IP Strategy

FunPlus, a leading gaming company, has recently announced the appointment of Alexandre Amancio to the position of senior vice president and head of world building and IP strategy. Amancio, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, will be responsible for driving FunPlus’s cross-platform strategy and achieving its IP development goals. He will work closely with FunPlus’s development teams in Europe and Asia, operating from his base in Portugal.

Prior to joining FunPlus, Amancio held various roles in the gaming industry, including creative director for two games in the highly acclaimed Assassin’s Creed series. His appointment is part of a growing trend of mobile gaming attracting top talent from the industry.

Amancio’s Successful Ventures

In 2016, Amancio founded Reflector Entertainment, a multimedia development studio focused on creating cohesive Storyworlds through multiple forms of media. The studio recently introduced Unknown 9, a paranormal Storyworld, and has already released a trilogy of novels, a comic series, a podcast, and an AR experience. The eagerly awaited game, available across multiple platforms, is set to launch soon.
