Enchanted Portals Conjures Cuphead-Like 2D Platforming On Switch This September

Enchanted Portals Finally Gets a Release Date

After four years since its initial announcement, Enchanted Portals, a 2D platformer heavily inspired by Cuphead, finally has a release date. Publisher Perp Games has announced that the game will be launching on September 6th, 2023, for the Switch (including PC and other consoles).

Initially, Enchanted Portals gained attention for its striking resemblance to Cuphead. However, the game has since incorporated a variety of art styles and level designs in an effort to differentiate itself. In the release date trailer, the similarities are still evident, with comparable jumping and shooting animations and a hand-drawn art style.

Although a physical edition for PS5 has been announced for September 28th, there is speculation that Switch owners may have the opportunity to obtain one in the future.
