The Last Ronin graphic novel narrative revolves around the last surviving member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who embarks on a journey for vengeance in a post-apocalyptic New York City. The latest synopsis, along with the trailer, strongly suggests that the game will reflect this storyline. “Who is the Last Ronin? In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. In a previous interview with Polygon, the senior vice president for games and emerging media at Paramount Global revealed that TMNT: The Last Ronin will be a single-player action RPG, drawing comparisons to the modern God of War series. The game is set to exhibit a mature tone, catering to enthusiasts of the comic series. However, it was emphasized that the release of the game is still years away.

While a specific launch window for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin has not been announced, it is confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
