Mark your calendars! Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect2 have officially revealed the release date for Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections.
Release Date Details
The highly anticipated game is set to launch on November 17, 2023, and will be available on multiple platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. However, fans eager to play on PC will have to wait a bit longer as the release date for that platform has not been announced yet.
A Special Celebration
As the Naruto series commemorates its 20th anniversary, Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections aims to deliver an unforgettable gaming experience. Drawing content and stories from all the previous games in the Ninja Storm fighting game series, this latest installment will also feature new content inspired by the popular Boruto anime series.
Expansive Roster and Thrilling Story
According to CyberConnect2, players can expect to choose from a whopping roster of over 130 fighters. Additionally, the game introduces a new and captivating story centered around Naruto’s son, Boruto. In this narrative, players will guide Boruto as he strives to prevent the outbreak of the Fifth Great Ninja War.
Pre-Order Bonuses
Excited fans can already secure their copies of Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections through pre-orders. There are various editions available, including the standard edition and the Digital Deluxe edition priced at $84.99. The Digital Deluxe edition includes the base game, the Season Pass (which grants access to five new playable characters post-launch), and an exclusive “Maskless” costume for Kakashi. For ultimate fans, the digital Ultimate Edition priced at $94.99 offers all previous content plus five additional costumes and two costume accessories.
Physical Collector’s Editions
For collectors and enthusiasts, physical versions of the game will also be released by Bandai Namco. These special editions include the Collector’s Edition priced at $139.99, which features the base game, a steelbook case, a special Collector’s Box, and an exclusive Naruto and Sasuka figurine set. The Premium Collector’s Edition priced at $199.99 encompasses all the digital and physical bonuses from the Digital Deluxe/Ultimate Edition and Collector’s Edition, along with six physical collectible cards and a unique scroll adorned with original artwork of every fighter in the game, beautifully drawn by Studio Pierrot, the esteemed studio behind the Naruto series.
