The announcement came through a trailer that premiered at Back to Hogwarts, an annual celebration of the beloved franchise.

Titled “The Wizardry Behind Hogwarts Legacy,” this full-length feature will be available on the game’s official YouTube channel later in the year. The trailer offers a glimpse into the interviews with the development team, where they discuss their creative process. In addition, there is a special cameo appearance around the one-minute mark that will surely be recognized by fans, particularly those familiar with PlayStation LifeStyle.

While the exact release date of the documentary is still unknown, it is speculated that it will coincide with the game’s launch on the Nintendo Switch, which is scheduled for November 15 after experiencing several delays.

However, fans hoping for the announcement of downloadable content (DLC) might be disappointed. The studio did not take this opportunity to reveal any DLC plans, disappointing some fans who expressed their frustrations on Hogwarts Legacy’s social media channels. In fact, the development team had previously stated that they had no immediate plans for DLC.
