Mortal Kombat 1 Creator Ed Boon Teases New Fighters
The creator of Mortal Kombat 1, Ed Boon, has hinted that a fresh wave of terrifying fighters may soon join the game’s roster. Boon posted an image on Twitter/X featuring some of horror’s most iconic mascots, such as Leatherface, Freddy, Michael Myers, Jason, Pinhead, Jigsaw, and Chucky. Each horror icon had either a tick or a question mark above their heads.
Of particular interest was the inclusion of Scream’s Ghostface, which adds credibility to rumors that voice lines related to Ghostface were discovered in a recent datamine (source: Eurogamer).
Will these terrifying creatures join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster in time for Halloween? Only time will tell. Rest assured, we will keep you updated if Boon reveals any further information.
Bug in Mortal Kombat 1 Affects Gameplay
Reports suggest that Mortal Kombat 1 contains a bug that potentially affects every character in the game, giving an advantage to player one. The bug allows player one to execute certain combos during fights that player two cannot perform. NetherRealm has acknowledged the issue, and it is currently being investigated.
