Forza Motorsport Release Times: Early Access and General Availability

Turn 10’s highly anticipated racing game, Forza Motorsport, is set to release in just a few days for players who purchased the Premium Edition. However, the game will also be available to those who did not purchase the Premium Edition next week on October 10. The specific release times will vary depending on the version purchased and the player’s location.

Early Access Release Times

Players who paid for early access will be able to start playing the game on October 5 at 12:01 AM local time, regardless of their location. However, players in the Central and Pacific Time zones in the United States will have access to the game slightly earlier, with unlocks at 11:01 PM and 9:01 PM on October 4, respectively. While it is expected that players in the Mountain Time zone will see their games unlock at 10:01 PM, the studio has not provided explicit confirmation, leaving some uncertainty.

Forza Motorsport: A Traditional Racing Game

Unlike Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport takes a more traditional approach to racing, focusing on race tracks rather than open terrains. Players can expect a controlled environment and thrilling competition.

Changes to Career Mode and AI Behavior

Prior to the release, Turn 10 announced that it had made certain changes to the game’s career mode and AI behavior. Bots will now act like professional drivers, adding a new level of challenge and realism to races. Additionally, instead of earning money to unlock new cars, players will receive Car Points.
