Trailmix Expands with New Studio in Berlin

Trailmix, the developer behind Love & Pies, has opened its second studio in Berlin, marking its expansion outside of London. With the support of Supercell, Trailmix has experienced significant growth, expanding its team from 10 to over 60 members.

New Directors Bring Invaluable Experience

Trailmix has recently welcomed Annelie Biernat and Christopher Parschat to its team, who have joined the Berlin studio. Both Biernat and Parschat come with extensive experience from German mobile developer Wooga, known for its casual games.

Biernat, who spent a decade at Wooga, led various teams in the development of popular titles such as Pearl’s Peril and Switchcraft. In the new Berlin studio, she will serve as the studio director. Parschat, who has been with Wooga since 2009, supported the growth of Switchcraft and other successful games. At Trailmix, he will take on the role of creative director in Berlin.

Continuing Success and Future Plans

Love & Pies has been a success for Trailmix, and the company is already working on new games with the aim of reaching millions of players. The opening of the Berlin studio will support the company’s strategy of exploring innovative ways to delight its players in the ever-evolving mobile gaming landscape.

Trailmix Acquired by Supercell

Last year, Supercell acquired Trailmix, becoming the majority stakeholder through a $60 million investment. Both companies were recognized in the Top 50 Mobile Game Makers 2023 list.
