Fixes Implemented

Thanks to the hard work of Xbox engineers, we are delighted to announce the following fixes for this build:

Games

  • Fixed an issue where an unexpected cursor would remain visible during gameplay in certain titles.

System

  • Various updates have been made to ensure accurate language representation across the console.
    • Note: Users participating in Preview may notice “odd” text throughout the console. For more information, please refer to our support page.

Known Issues

We acknowledge that some issues have been mentioned in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes. Rest assured, our dedicated Xbox engineers are actively working to find a solution.

Audio

  • We have received reports of intermittent audio issues across the dashboard, games, and apps. If you have experienced these issues, make sure you have the latest firmware updates for your TV and other equipment. If problems persist, please reach out to the manufacturer for assistance.
    • Note: If you continue to experience issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please use the Report a Problem feature immediately, select the “Reproduce with advanced diagnostics” option, and choose the “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues” categories. Provide as much information as possible, including:
      • When did the issue start?
      • Did the audio loss occur only in the game/app or across the entire system?
      • Did changing the audio format resolve the issue? If yes, what was the previous and current format?
      • Did rebooting the system resolve the issue?
      • Describe your setup, including the equipment and layout.
      • Any additional information that can help us reproduce the problem.

Games

  • We are aware of an issue causing unexpected steering wheel vibration in certain titles. A fix for this will be included in a future update.

Keyboard Button Mapping for Xbox Controllers

  • If you change your keyboard language settings while the Xbox Accessories app is open, the change will take effect after you quit the app or restart your console.

Networking

  • We are currently investigating reports of network connectivity issues on boot. If you encounter this problem, please use the Report a Problem feature as soon as possible.
    • Workaround: Wait for a minute to allow the connection to establish. If your console still doesn’t connect, restart it using the Power Center by holding the Xbox button > Restart console > Restart.

Please continue using the Report a Problem feature to keep us informed about any issues you encounter. While we may not be able to respond to every individual, the data we collect is vital for resolving issues.
