Where Is Xur Today? (November 24-28) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

After a couple of months filled with spooky fun, Season of the Witch is almost at an end. Before the Season of the Wish begins in Destiny 2, Xur is back in the Solar system with a fresh batch of Exotic gear and Legendary-class items. Below, you’ll find the location where you can track down Xur this weekend, as well as the items he has in stock.

Xur’s Location

You can find Xur in the EDZ this week, specifically in the Winding Cove area. For those unfamiliar with the area, you can spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone and then head north. Once you reach a collapsed overpass on your left, look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; Xur will be waiting there.

Xur’s Exotic and Legendary Items

  • Exotic Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
  • Tractor Cannon – 29 Legendary Shards
  • Peregrine Greaves – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Gemini Jester – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Phoenix Protocol – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Hawkmoon – 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher
  • Xenology quest – Free
  • Legendary weapons and armor – 50 Legendary Shards, 1,000 Glimmer

Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard Ops or win Crucible and Gambit matches in order to earn an Exotic Cipher. These can be used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower. However, this season, you’ll also be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. It’s worth noting that the cap on Exotic Ciphers has increased, allowing you to hold up to five of them at a time.

Exotic Armor

Peregrine Greaves (Exotic Titan leg armor)

Peregrine Greaves enhance shoulder charge abilities for Titans and also provide increased damage when activated in the air. This Exotic also grants a small stat boost to the airborne effectiveness of all weapons. Overall, this Exotic is more useful in PvP given the situational nature of its perks. The stats on this roll are fairly balanced, with the Strength stat being particularly high.

  • Mobility: 11
  • Resilience: 11
  • Recovery: 10
  • Discipline: 8
  • Intellect: 7
  • Strength: 15
  • Total: 62

Gemini Jester (Exotic Hunter leg armor)

Gemini Jester is a great Exotic for Hunters in PvP, disorienting and temporarily removing the radar of enemies whenever the dodging ability is used. This roll has high mobility, recovery, and intellect stats, making it a solid choice for those looking for an Exotic that fits well with a PvP-focused playstyle.

  • Mobility: 15
  • Resilience: 8
  • Recovery: 12
  • Discipline: 6
  • Intellect: 15
  • Strength: 10
  • Total: 66

Phoenix Protocol (Exotic Warlock armor)

Phoenix Protocol is a must-have Exotic for Warlocks who support their fireteams with their Well of Radiance Super. This Exotic returns energy whenever you or your teammates make kills from inside your Super ability. While the stats on this roll are not the best, the high intellect stat can help reduce your Super cooldown time.

  • Mobility: 24
  • Resilience: 2
  • Recovery: 11
  • Discipline: 2
  • Intellect: 19
  • Strength: 10
  • Total: 68

Exotic Weapons

Tractor Cannon is an Exotic shotgun that can debuff and suppress the abilities of your enemies, making it a valuable tool when used in combination with the right build. Hawkmoon, on the other hand, offers the Killign Wind trait this week, providing increased mobility, weapon range, and handling from final blows.

Xur can be found in Destiny 2 every weekend, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery at first, as he is not listed on the map, but players can visit a number of predictable locations including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
