Death Stranding 2 Possibly Headed to The Game Awards 2023

Fans Eagerly Anticipate Death Stranding 2 Release Date

PS5 exclusive Death Stranding 2 has fans excited for a potential reveal at The Game Awards 2023, after a tweet by the event organizer. Creator Hideo Kojima and TGA host Geoff Keighley have a strong relationship, and the sequel was first announced at last year’s awards show, despite already being in the works.

In response to a tweet by Kojima himself, which mentioned that he was “mixing” something, the organizer’s now-deleted tweet has led fans to believe that the developer is preparing a trailer for TGA 2023, scheduled for Thursday, December 7. As one of the largest annual gaming events following E3, TGA attracts high-profile celebrities and industry executives, making it a prime opportunity for Kojima to make an announcement.

While the reasons for the deleted reply remain unknown, it’s possible that Keighley didn’t want to spoil any surprises. Even with Kojima working on other projects, all signs point to Death Stranding 2 being the main focus and potentially featuring a new trailer with release window details, if not an actual release date.
