Hazard levels in Lethal Company, explained

Lethal Company: Understanding Hazard Levels

When you start playing Lethal Company, you may be perplexed by the hazard levels that pop up when you land on a moon. Understanding what these hazard levels mean can make the difference between a successful mission and a complete disaster.

Before you start mining for scrap, it’s important to know the significance of the hazard levels. In Lethal Company, these hazard levels determine the difficulty of the creatures you’ll encounter and the number of enemies you’ll face. There are a total of seven hazard levels, each indicating an increasing level of danger.

Hazard level safe

Only the company building has this hazard level. If you find yourself on the company building on Gordion, you should be entirely safe, but the same cannot be guaranteed if you decide to test the limits.

Hazard level D

This is the lowest hazard level in the game besides “safe” and is found on the moon Assurance. Here, the journey is relatively easy, and you may encounter creatures like Hoarding Bugs.

Hazard level C

Level C is present on the moon Vow, offering a moderate difficulty with tougher enemies like Spore Lizards. Remember to exercise caution when exploring this moon.

Hazard level B

Offense, March, and Experimentation all have hazard level B. Here, things start to become more challenging, with intermediate-level monsters such as Forest Keepers and Circuit Bee beehives making their presence known.

Hazard level A

Hazard level A is found on Rend, one of the three paid moons. Wildlife outside the facility is more dangerous, and the inside is even more treacherous.

Hazard level S

Exploring Dine, another costly moon, will expose you to the second toughest hazard level – S. Navigating through the extreme fog and wind on this moon will prove to be quite challenging, so make sure you bring enough players to ensure your survival.

Hazard level S+

Finally, the scariest and toughest enemies can be found on Titan, which boasts hazard level S+. With monsters like Ghost Girl, Bracken, and Coil Head, surviving on this planet is no easy feat. However, the rewards inside are likely to be unparalleled.
