Dragon Age: Dreadwolf gets short teaser, but full reveal won’t happen until next year

New Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Teaser Released by BioWare

BioWare has just unveiled a tantalizing teaser for the upcoming game Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. While the teaser only clocks in at around 50 seconds, it showcases some stunning visuals of various locations within the game. From the port city in Antiva to the azure blue seas of the Rivain shoreline, the teaser captures the essence of the Dragon Age world. The official description sets the stage for the game, describing Thedas as a land of rugged wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities – all teetering on the edge of fate. The teaser concludes with an announcement that the full game reveal is set for summer 2024. You can watch the teaser yourself below.

Long Wait for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

While the teaser has ignited excitement among fans, it also comes with the disappointing news that the full game won’t be revealed until next year. This delay may not come as a surprise to many, as previous reports had indicated that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf wouldn’t be released before next April. Notably, the RPG was absent from the studio’s financial earnings report in May, indicating a longer wait for its release. If the game indeed launches next year, it would mark the longest journey from formal announcement in 2018 to the launch in 2024, surpassing the five-year gap between Mass Effect 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda.

Mass Effect Teaser Trailer Reveal

In addition to the Dragon Age teaser, BioWare has also released a 30-second teaser trailer for the next installment of Mass Effect. However, reports suggest that fans may have to wait until 2029 for the launch of Mass Effect 5. With both Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and Mass Effect generating significant buzz, it looks like fans of these franchises will have an exciting journey ahead.
