Unlocking the Golden River Camo in Modern Warfare 3

When it comes to weapon customization, painting a weapon in unique and eye-catching colors is just as important as mastering its use. In Modern Warfare 3, one of the most sought-after camos is the Golden River camo. Here’s how you can unlock it.

Contrary to popular belief, you won’t have to complete a single Herculean task to unlock the Golden River camo. Instead, you’ll need to complete a series of challenges. Throughout what has been dubbed Season 0 of Modern Warfare 3, a camo called the Golden River camo has been featured in the Weekly challenges tab for a total of 4 weeks.

This means that in order to unlock the Golden River camo, you’ll need to complete all 4 Weekly Challenges by fulfilling specific requirements for each challenge. Each unlock requires a total of 5 Weekly Challenge completions, totaling 25 Weekly Challenges to unlock the Golden River camo. These challenges are tied to specific weapons or Aftermarket Parts, and must be completed in their respective weeks (1 through 4).

If you haven’t been able to complete all the Weekly Challenges in the past few weeks, don’t worry – the weapons and Aftermarket Parts that were previously part of the Weekly Challenges will still be obtainable through the Armory Unlocks. It’s likely that the Golden River camo will be accessible through the same method as well.

As Modern Warfare 3 gears up for Season 1, it’s possible that new unlock requirements for the Golden River camo will be introduced. Keep an eye out for these requirements, and hopefully, you won’t need a time machine to obtain this sought-after camo.
