What to do if you’re stuck at 9% in Dash Level in Geometry Dash

Every Geometry Dash player knows the frustration of getting stuck at a certain point in a level. In this case, many players are struggling with the 9% mark in the game’s newest official level. If you’ve been experiencing this same issue, don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Why do you keep dying at the 9% mark in Dash?

Many players, particularly non-professionals, have found themselves consistently dying at the 9% mark, specifically during the transition from the Walker to the Ball character. It’s a common belief that something is missing or that it’s a bug, but the reality is that just after the portal, there is a specific section that requires holding the jump button, known as Fingerdash.

Given the chaos of the level, the change in color, and character type, it’s quite easy to miss the sudden need to hold the button. Even veteran players may have overlooked this detail, causing frustration for those new to the game.

Learning to recognize and react to this section is key to progressing in the level.

As you transition into the Ball, make sure to hold the button until you navigate past the Fingerdash, which will become evident as you fall into another portal to continue the level.

Enter Practice mode if you’re struggling

If you’re finding it hard to advance in the level, consider using the Practice mode. This mode allows you to place checkpoints, making it easier to repeatedly practice and master challenging sections of the level.

Using Practice mode is not a form of cheating, as some players might believe. It’s a valuable tool for improving your skills and enjoying the game’s challenges without the frustration of constant failures.

Once you’ve mastered the level, you can go back to enjoying the music and the thrill of the game without the constant fear of rage quitting.
