One user named JohnFrum detailed how they left the hammer with Karlach, ultimately leading to their confinement in a specific area of the game. Another user, named YeetDabMaster69, also faced a similar situation after giving the hammer to Shadowheart and then realizing they couldn’t progress.

The usual failsafe that should trigger in this situation, involving a character named Raphael, did not work for these players. It’s unclear why this scene failed to trigger, causing the game to become unwinnable for some players.

Thankfully, some users have suggested a solution for PC players who are comfortable using mods. There is a mod available that allows players to return the Orphic Hammer to their inventory, resolving the issue. However, players are advised to exercise caution when using unofficial mods.
