Retro Survival Horror Alisa: Developer’s Cut Heads to PlayStation Next Month

Alisa brings classic Survival Horror to PlayStation

Top Hat Studios is set to release the PS4 port of the 90s-inspired survival horror game Alisa next month, bringing back the nostalgia of retro gaming with a modern twist.

Experience a Fantastical World

In Alisa, players take on the role of Elite Royal Agent Alisa, who is in pursuit of a notorious thief in a world that is reminiscent of the 1920s. Suddenly, she finds herself trapped in a bizarre Victorian-style mansion where she must find a way to escape while being haunted by the mansion’s strange, mechanized doll-like inhabitants.

Classic Retro Gaming Experience

With its low-poly models, pre-rendered backgrounds, and choice of classic tank controls or modern control styles, Alisa offers players a genuine throwback to PS1 and N64 style gaming. The game also features a variety of weapons, enemies, and locations, offering surprises around every corner and a nostalgic trip to the late 1990s.

Bringing Back the Classic

Originally developed in Unity 5, Alisa required several technological innovations to make the game compatible with modern console systems. The PS4 port contains all updates and new content previously added to the PC version, as well as numerous fixes and quality of life optimizations, making it the definitive version of the game.

Get Ready to (Re)Experience the Horror

Alisa Developer’s Cut is scheduled for release on February 6, 2024, offering PlayStation players the chance to dive into the world of classic survival horror with a modern twist.
