Postal: Brain Damaged to Release on the Nintendo Switch

Postal: Brain Damaged is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The team made the announcement earlier this week on Steam.

Pre-orders will be available next week on the eShop, and the game is set to be released on February 2, 2024 for $24.99 / £19.99. Be sure to check out the trailer on YouTube, but keep in mind that it does contain mature content.

Here’s a full overview of the game, including a preview from Nintendo.com:

Forget everything you know about the gameplay of the POSTAL series. POSTAL: Brain Damaged is a daring and highly acclaimed spin-off that’s ready to take you on a wild ride with the POSTAL Dude. This time, the story will take place within the twisted psyche of the POSTAL DUDE himself, and it’s not the open-world sandbox experience you might be used to.

This spin-off brings the gameplay in a new direction, reminiscent of classic first-person shooter games from the 90s and 2000s. It offers level-based non-stop action and exploration, a wide range of fantastic and nightmarish enemies and bosses, unconventional guns, and plenty of secrets to discover. All of this is complemented by the signature humor that the world of POSTAL games is known for!

The game promises:

  • Exploration of a completely new, hand-crafted world full of surprises
  • Challenging and fast-paced gameplay with dynamic movement and outrageous level design
  • A journey through the rich, twisted, ever-changing environments of POSTAL DUDE’S deranged mind
  • Various insane guns to shoot at some of the freakiest enemies
  • An all-original storyline that adds to the confusion of the POSTAL-VERSE continuity
  • The trademark dark, irreverent humor that the POSTAL series is known for
  • Return of Corey Cruise as the POSTAL DUDE, along with guest appearances from other fan-favorite voices
  • A backdrop featuring some real heavy-metal bangers
