Game Writers Share Their Weekend Plans

It’s been an interesting week for some of our team members as they discuss what games they’ll be playing over the weekend.

After spending some time with it, I’ve really gotten into Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The movement is just so satisfying! I also recently completed Celeste, and now I feel like I have super-human reflexes. I’m also looking forward to finally trying Golden Sun for the first time and seeing what all the buzz is about.

Although I’ll be occupied with The Last of Us Part II Remastered on the PS5, I might still find some time to make progress in Persona 3 Portable on the Switch.

I’ve been listening to a lot of GOTY Podcasts, but I also plan on playing LEGO Indiana Jones with my kids this weekend. It’s a game I used to play on the Wii, and I hope my kids will enjoy it as much as I did.

I’m excited about Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown finally coming to the Switch and also looking forward to playing Hammerwatch II and more of PS3’s Dragon’s Crown action.

I’ll be watching a lot of GDQ this weekend and might spend some time finishing Tears of the Kingdom. I didn’t finish the game last time, but now I feel ready to complete it.

I’m planning to play through both Golden Sun games again over the next few weeks and I’m also considering replaying Final Fantasy VII in the run-up to the Remake’s release on PS5.
