Bushi is a top-tier Pal in Palworld due to its level three Lumbering ability, which makes it an ideal companion for logging and adding to your wood supplies. However, locating Bushi can be a challenge, but there are specific spots where it is guaranteed to appear.
Ranked number 72 in the Paldeck, Bushi is one of the most valuable Pals found on the Palpagos Islands. In addition to its level three Lumbering skill, it also possesses level two Kindling/Transporting and level one Gathering/Handiwork abilities. This diverse skillset makes it a versatile companion well-suited to a variety of tasks at your base, from assisting in crafting gear to ensuring that any fires remain lit.
Where to Find Bushi in Palworld
You can find Bushi along the beaches on the southwestern volcanic island in Palworld, with its precise spawn zone marked on the map above. There is a fast travel point right on the beach, and Bushi tends to appear in the vicinity of that tower. When encountering a wild Bushi, it is likely to be around level 30, so ensuring that you are equipped with the right gear is essential.

We recommend assembling a team of level 30 Pals to protect yourself from the wildlife in that area of the map. Additionally, it is advisable to have a Musket or some other type of firearm to weaken the Bushi, increasing your chances of capturing it. Regular Pal Spheres will not suffice for a Pal of this caliber, so be sure to craft Mega Spheres and Giga Spheres for this occasion.
There is also a level 23 Alpha Pal version of Bushi that can be found to the west of the starting Palworld plateau. It is situated on the way to the volcanic island, making it likely that you will encounter this Alpha Bushi on your journey to find the regular ones. While this Alpha Bushi is of a lower level than the wild ones on the volcanic island, it is your best bet if you are looking to acquire a Bushi for your base early. How to Beat Alpha Bushi in Palworld
Defeating the Alpha Bushi boss can be challenging without the right team and equipment, so adequate preparation is crucial before attempting this fight. Decent armor, such as Metal Armor, is necessary to survive its attacks, and a Musket or another powerful ranged weapon is essential to deal sufficient damage.
Your Pals will do most of the work during the encounter, so ensure that you have a team of level 20 or higher Pals. As Bushi is a Fire-type Pal, bring Pals that know Water-type moves. Avoid bringing any Grass or Ice-type Pals, as Fire is particularly effective against them.
Bushi is an extremely agile Pal, so keeping a close eye on it to dodge its attacks is crucial. Be cautious of its standard fireball attack, as it packs a much stronger punch than you might anticipate. Use Giga Spheres to have the best chance of capturing this boss Pal, as anything less will not be nearly as effective.
Once you have depleted Bushi’s health as much as possible, you stand a great chance of capturing it with a Giga Sphere. Bushi is not only valuable for your base due to its skillset (especially if assigned to the right task), but it is also a great addition to your main party as it increases items dropped from Neutral-type Pals.
