There’s been an announcement in the gaming industry from Japan indicating that Square Enix has absorbed the developer Tokyo RPG Factory.

As a result of this acquisition, Tokyo RPG Factory will be dissolved immediately and “will cease to exist as an individual entity” (thanks, Gematsu). Tokyo RPG Factory, founded by Yosuke Matsuda a decade ago, was a subsidiary of Square Enix.
