Baldur’s Gate 3 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are big winners at the annual D.I.C.E. awards

The 27th annual D.I.C.E. Awards honored some of the best games from the past year, celebrating outstanding achievements in various categories. Among the big winners was Baldur’s Gate 3, which took home the prestigious D.I.C.E. Awards Game of the Year trophy, as well as multiple other accolades.

Larian Studios’s RPG epic was recognized for its excellence in story, game direction, game design, and its role-playing game of the year. The game also made a splash at The Game Awards and received praise from the TechRadar Gaming (TRG) team.

Another standout winner of the evening was Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which scooped up awards for outstanding achievement in animation, music composition, and character. This was a notable achievement for the superhero adventure, particularly after its lack of recognition at The Game Awards despite multiple nominations.

Meggan Scavio, the president of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, lauded the talent and creativity of the interactive entertainment industry, emphasizing the groundbreaking experiences that these games provide.
