The 27th annual D.I.C.E. Awards Celebrates the Best in Video Games

The 27th annual D.I.C.E. Awards, hosted by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), celebrated the best games and creators of the last year in a more industry-focused event compared to the Game Awards. The event received votes from over 30,000 industry experts, developers, and studios, making it a significant platform for recognizing excellence in the gaming industry.

The big winners of the night included Baldur’s Gate 3, which won Game of the Year among other accolades, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which walked away with six awards. In addition to the game awards, legendary Nintendo composer Koji Kondo was also honored and inducted into the AIAS Hall of Fame during the ceremony.
