Sony Teases PC Access for PlayStation VR2 Owners

Sony has hinted at the possibility of allowing PlayStation VR2 owners to access games on the PC, potentially creating more opportunities for cross-platform gaming.

Sony’s Plans for PC Support

In a recent post on the PlayStation Blog discussing upcoming games for the PS VR2, Sony mentioned that they are exploring the idea of PC support for the headset.

While specific details were not provided, Sony expressed their intention to implement this feature sometime within the year.

“We’re pleased to share that we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5,” reads the post. “We hope to make this support available in 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.”

For now, the PS VR2 has been primarily associated with the PlayStation console family. However, the potential expansion to PC gaming could open up new possibilities for VR enthusiasts.
