The most difficult aspect of the Mosaic Snapshot quests is timing. With heavy traffic in every area, trying to complete these tasks on the day they are released can be tough. The good news is that you don’t lose progress if you die between objectives, and you can even quit matches without any setbacks. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to conquer each part of the quest.

Speak with Odyssey about the Mosaic

You will find Odysee wandering around Ruined Reels. The quest marker indicates a building, but Odysee is usually walking around at ground level. Simply approach them, initiate a conversation, and choose the chat icon to complete the quest. Although Ruined Reels is a major hotspot on the map, you can land on a roof to quickly lose your glider and reach Odysee before more players arrive. Remember, it doesn’t matter if you die, but you must activate the conversation in the chat menu to finish the task.

Dig Mosaic Caches around the Windmills

Step two of the Snapshot Quest involves finding 3 Mosaic Caches in the ground near various windmills. You can locate each windmill’s position on the map.

The Mosaic Caches are always located near the base of the windmill and emit a faint glow. As you start with your pickaxe in hand, you can land directly on these caches and dig them up to complete the task. There is no need to collect anything, and you can split this step across multiple games.

Dig Mosaic Caches around the Cemetery

This step is quicker, as all caches are in the same cemetery north of Ruined Reels. Each cache glows, making the dig sites easy to identify. Two are in the main graveyard, while one is in the smaller area on the lower floor.

How to Investigate and Catalog the Mosaic Emblem in Fortnite

The final step may seem confusing as the quest marker is far from the objective. All you need to do is enter the building in the middle of the cemetery, where you will find the Mosaic Emblem on the ground. Once you pick it up, you will have completed the entire Mosaic Snapshot Questline.
