Microsoft recently unveiled a new special edition SpongeBob Xbox Series X bundle that will only be available in limited quantities through Best Buy Drops via the Best Buy mobile app.

Unveiled in a recent post on the official Xbox Wire blog, the bundle is called the ‘Xbox Series X – Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Special Edition Bundle’ and is a collaboration with the popular arcade fighting game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

The bundle features an Xbox Series X console adorned with the iconic smiling face of SpongeBob SquarePants, who is a playable character in the game. The design extends beyond the front of the console, wrapping around to showcase SpongeBob’s arms, creating a unique and eye-catching look.

Additionally, the package includes a special edition controller showcasing a colorful collage of other SpongeBob SquarePants characters like Squidward, Gary, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs. Both the console and controller prominently display Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 logos and come with a downloadable copy of the game.

Priced at $699, the special edition bundle is $200 more expensive than the standard Xbox Series X. This premium price point, along with the limited availability, is likely to appeal primarily to dedicated collectors.

The bundle will go on sale at 8am PST on March 7, 2024, exclusively through Best Buy Drops via the Best Buy Mobile App, with Microsoft urging interested buyers to act quickly due to the limited inventory.
