Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Gets a Switch Upgrade
Originally released over ten years ago, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon might not be the easiest game to revisit in 2024 due to its exclusive 3DS availability. However, in a recent Nintendo Direct in September, it was revealed that this beloved sequel will be coming to the Switch as Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, adding to the growing library of the hybrid console. Nintendo has now confirmed that Luigi and his trusty Poltergust 5000 will be back on the Switch in June.
Back in 2013, when Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon was released on the 3DS, it received high praise from critics, including an 8.5 from Game Informer. This installment follows the adventures of the younger Mario Brother as he explores various mansions to capture ghosts and save Mario from the clutches of King Boo. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on June 27. If you’re excited to join Luigi in ghost-busting antics before then, make sure to dive into Luigi’s Mansion 3, a highly underrated first-party game for the Switch. For more details, you can read our review of Luigi’s Mansion 3.
