System Shock Remake Coming to PlayStation and Xbox Consoles

Exciting news for fans of the System Shock remake – Developer Night Dive Studios has announced that the game will be making its way to PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Originally launched on PC on May 30, 2023, the remake will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 21, just before its one-year anniversary.

This announcement was made alongside a new trailer released on IGN, showcasing some of the thrilling sci-fi horror and first-person shooting elements players can expect in the game. You can watch the trailer for yourself below:

The PC version of the remake has been well-received, promising players a faithful reimagining of the beloved classic. The development of this remake has been ongoing for several years, with a glimpse of its pre-alpha state back in 2016.

For more insight, Warren Spector recently disclosed that OtherSide Entertainment has not been actively working on System Shock 3 for some time. Additionally, there is a live-action TV series based on System Shock currently in production.
