Unlock Super Mario Yoshi’s Island Icons with Switch Online Membership

Last month, Nintendo introduced a new set of Switch icons exclusively for NSO subscribers who actively played a game. The same concept has now returned with an event related to the beloved Super Nintendo classic – Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Players can acquire five icons for 10 Platinum Points each, but the catch is that they must launch the game in the SNES app to unlock them.

This delightful lineup features iconic characters such as Baby Mario, Yoshi, and even everyone’s favorite pup Poochy!

To access these exclusive icons, players must have an active Switch Online membership, acquire enough Platinum Points, and launch and play the game. These special icons will be available for purchase until May 2024.
