How to Create a Steel Ingot in Once Human

The process of crafting Steel Ingots in Once Human can be quite challenging, especially for players who are new to the game. One of the requirements to obtain Forging Techniques is the Bronze Pickaxe Memetic. This tool is essential for gathering Iron Ore, which is necessary for crafting Steel Ingots. To craft the Bronze Pickaxe at the Supplies Workbench, you will need to collect materials such as Logs, Bronze Ingots, Hide, Tin Ore, Copper Ore, and Charcoal.

  • 5x Log: Cut from trees around the world.
  • 7x Bronze Ingot: Smelt using Tin Ore, Copper Ore, and Charcoal.
  • 1x Hide: Obtain by hunting animals.

Although the starting region of Dayton Wetlands does not contain Iron Ore veins, they can be found in the nearby Iron River region. Players can venture into this level 28 zone to mine Iron Ore and return to craft Steel Ingots at their furnace. It is important to be prepared for potential enemy encounters in this higher-level area.

Once you have gathered your Iron Ores, processed Charcoal from Logs, and prepared your materials, you can begin smelting Steel Ingots at your furnace. Investing in Infrastructure Memetics is recommended to enhance your gear and tools for the early stages of the game. In the event of enemy encounters, utilize weapons like a crossbow to defend yourself.
