New leaks surrounding the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have surfaced, hinting at an upcoming cross-gen release from Activision.
Data miners, as reported by VGC, have delved into files following the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4, uncovering details about the platforms on which the next major installment of the Call of Duty series will be available, as well as information on various editions.
According to these findings, Black Ops 6 is set to be a cross-generation release, making it accessible not only on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, but also on PS4 and Xbox One.
The leaked screenshots circulating online suggest that players will have the option to choose between two editions: the Standard edition and the Vault edition. Additionally, a “cross-gen bundle” will be made available.
While specific details regarding the contents of each edition are scarce, it appears that the Vault edition may offer additional cosmetic skins and perks at a higher price point compared to the Standard edition.
Furthermore, a potential collaboration between Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Fallout seems to be on the horizon during Season 4. Referred to as the ‘Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Dweller’, the collection showcases Operators donning the iconic blue and yellow Vault Tech jumpsuits, complete with a Pip-Boy and themed weapons.
Earlier this week, Microsoft teased a new live-action trailer and confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass for all members on its release day.
For a comprehensive look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, fans can tune in to the Call of Duty Direct presentation on June 9, following the Xbox Games Showcase at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. This event is expected to unveil a full game reveal showcasing gameplay, characters, setting, and more.
