This Connections puzzle is notably easier than the ones from the past few days. While the purple ‘words before “Bell”‘ group may pose a challenge, the other groups are straightforward, and most players may not require any assistance in solving them.
I first tackled the green group, ‘Things stored by a web browser,’ immediately recognizing the combination of COOKIES and CACHE. As the editor of a website, it would be concerning if I didn’t know what they are!
The blue group, comprising CYCLE, LAP, REVOLUTION, and TURN, was an obvious match. Surprisingly, it was less challenging than usual. This left the yellow and purple groups. Predictably, the yellow group was the one I solved…

What is NYT Connections?
NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games created by the New York Times. It challenges players to identify groups of four items that share a common trait, with varying difficulty levels: green is easy, yellow is a bit harder, blue is often challenging, and purple is typically very difficult.
Fortunately, you technically don’t need to solve the final group, as it can be deduced through process of elimination. Moreover, players are allowed up to four mistakes, providing a bit of leeway.
Unlike simpler games like Wordle, NYT Connections is more intricate and offers opportunities for trickery.
