Shadow of the Damned Remaster Coming Soon

The cult classic game, Shadow of the Damned, is finally getting a remaster after years of hiatus. Co-created by Grasshopper Manufacture’s Goichi Suda (or Suda51) and Resident Evil’s creator Shinji Mikami, the game revolves around Garcia Hotspur, a demon hunter, rescuing his girlfriend who has been abducted by the forces of the underworld alongside his comical partner, Johnson.

Shadow of the Damned is a third-person shooter with elements of supernatural action and dark humor, making it a well-liked game upon its initial release in 2011. However, the game has not been ported beyond the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles – until now.

Grasshopper Manufacture has not divulged further information about the upcoming remaster. However, fans can obtain more details during the studio’s broadcast event, Grasshopper Direct, which will celebrate the studio’s 25th anniversary. The event will be held on June 14 at 9 p.m. PT/12 a.m. ET.
