How to Defeat Ashava during Act VI in Diablo 4

Dealing with Ashava, one of the massive creatures in Sanctuary, can be a challenge. Whether you encounter Ashava during Act VI of the story or as a World boss, defeating this formidable opponent can be difficult, especially if you’re going it alone. In this guide, we’ll show you how to beat Ashava during Act VI in Diablo 4.

Prepare Yourself for the Battle

If you’re planning to take on Ashava, it’s important to make sure you’re properly prepared. The battlefield is expansive, giving you plenty of space to maintain a safe distance from the creature. If you’re used to close-quarters melee combat, consider relying more on ranged attacks for this fight. Additionally, having skills that allow you to move quickly around the battlefield will be beneficial. For example, as a Lightning Sorcerer, you can use Teleport to escape from incoming attacks.

It’s important to note that Ashava has powerful Poison attacks. If you’re not using any other Elixirs, consider drinking a Poison Resistance Elixir, which can be crafted through Alchemists in most towns.

Strategies for Defeating Ashava during Act VI

During the first phase of the battle, Ashava may attempt to bite you if you get too close, but will leap at you if you’re too far away. To overcome this, try to maintain a safe distance and land hits when you can. When Ashava is about to leap, use your Dodge or Teleport abilities to evade the attack. Throughout all phases of the fight, there will be moments when Ashava can be stunned. Take advantage of these opportunities to unleash a barrage of attacks.

Ashava also employs arched claw swipes that can be challenging to react to. Pay close attention to the radius of their strike and ensure that you’re not standing in the strike zone. By avoiding the area, you can evade the next swipe. Additionally, be aware that Ashava unleashes long-ranged Poison attacks. You can spot when they’re about to release these attacks as their body starts to glow green. Make sure to position yourself away from Ashava to avoid the powerful Poison damage.

The second and third phases of the battle do not differ significantly from the first. However, Ashava will become more aggressive and increase the frequency of their attacks. Remember to stay clear of their swipes, bites, and Poison vomits. Ashava can also swipe backwards with their claws, so avoid staying directly behind them for extended periods.
