While this isn’t the first attempt to bring voice acting to Hollow Knight, it is undoubtedly the most ambitious. Inspired by a previous mod that didn’t come to fruition, Ccmaci decided to revive the concept. The casting call for the mod garnered over 5,000 auditions, proving the dedication of the Hollow Knight fan community.

As for future mods, Ccmaci is eagerly awaiting the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong before deciding on another project. However, given unlimited resources, he expresses a desire to create a vocalized mod for the Banner Saga series, another personal favorite.
